Cause For Celebration: Noelle Malkamaki

As part of our Cause for Celebration series presented by PNC, we are highlighting the triumphs of athletes with disabilities who have reshaped sport through determination and excellence. This week, we celebrate Noelle Malkamaki.

Born without a right hand, Noelle discovered her strength in shot put, competing at the NCAA Division I level before stepping into para track and field. She quickly rose to the top of the sport, becoming a world champion, world record holder, and Paralympic gold medalist in the F46 shot put.

At the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Noelle broke her own world record with a throw of 14.06 meters to win gold and become the first woman in her classification to surpass 14 meters in competition.

Today, we celebrate an athlete whose drive continues to push the limits of what’s possible in track and field!
