Cause for Celebration: Hunter Woodhall

As part of our Cause for Celebration series presented by PNC, we are highlighting the triumphs of athletes with disabilities who continue to redefine excellence in sport. This week, we celebrate Hunter Woodhall.

Talk about a golden moment! At the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, Hunter sprinted his way to his first Paralympic gold medal in the 400m T62, crossing the finish line in 46.36 seconds. Paris was just one chapter in Hunter’s story. A five-time Paralympic medalist, he has represented Team USA at three Paralympic Games and made history as the first double amputee to earn an NCAA Division I track and field scholarship at the University of Arkansas.

From the college track to the Paralympic podium, Hunter continues to show what it means to chase big goals and finish strong.

Today, we celebrate a champion who brings speed, heart, and a whole lot of determination to the track.
